In line with the school’s objective of increasing the pupil’s awareness of water safety and survival, the school will be conducting a swimming programme for all Primary 1 pupils to equip them with basic swimming proficiency. This is one of the modules offered under extended PE.This swimming programme will be conducted by Singapore Sports Council (SSC) qualified swimming instructors and in small groups of 1 instructor to 12 pupils. There will also be accompanying teachers to supervise the pupils. Certificates of proficiency will be awarded to pupils who have successfully attained the required standards of the programme.
